Matlacha Pass - Lee, FL Fishing Report on 20th Mar, 2025 - 1

Cape Coral Fishing Report – Recent Catches & Conditions Fishing in Cape Coral has remained productive despite challenging weather conditions, with frequent fronts and strong winds stirring up the waters. Anglers have still found success targeting inshore species, proving that persistence pays off even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. The bite has been steady, and those who have adjusted their techniques to the conditions have been rewarded with some great catches. Redfish & Black Drum Biting Well Redfish action has been consistent, with solid numbers of slot-sized red drum caught around mangrove shorelines and grass flats. Live shrimp and cut bait have been the go-to choices, while artificial lures worked slowly have also been producing results. Along with redfish, black drum have been making a strong showing near docks, bridges, and deep channels. These fish have been favoring crustacean baits like shrimp and crab, especially in areas with moving tides. Best Tactics for Windy Conditions With the constant fronts and unpredictable winds, anglers have found success by seeking out wind-protected areas and fishing deeper channels where fish are holding tight. Slow presentations and natural baits have been key in enticing bites. As the weather stabilizes, the fishing should only continue to improve, making it a great time to get out on the water. Natural Gut - Nueces, TX Fishing Report on 22nd Mar, 2023

Yesterday, Tim, Steve, and Conner accompanied me on an epic fishing adventure in Corpus Christi. We set out early in the morning with high hopes of reeling in some big catches, and boy did we deliver! The weather was perfect - sunny skies and calm waters made for ideal fishing conditions. We targeted sea trout and black drum, two popular species in the area known for their scrumptious taste.
